Chapter 5: Nanook's Hungry

“Who is that and where did he come from?” Amy asked her brothers.
“Jiminy-Willie-Peppers! I don’t know but I’m sure glad to see him, whoever he is,” exclaimed Parker.
“I hope it’s Kadluk. He’s the only one I know who would have a chance of getting us out of this mess!” howled Ty.
Then they heard the familiar voice as it spoke to Nanook’s Inua.
“Why do you stalk my young friends?” Kadluk asked the bear.
“All who live in my world are food to me!” declared the bear.
“You will not harm the young Kabloonas!” Kadluk stated.
“Who denies me my right to food?” The bear demanded.
“I do!” Kadluk snapped.
“Then, you too will be part of my meal! You have no weapons to stop me,” the bear grunted with satisfaction.
“I need no weapon to stop you!” Kadluk stated as a matter of fact.
